On Monday, my portfolio increased while the broader market fell.

The portfolio value went up by 0.75% to RM107,544.72 while the FBM KLCI decreased by  0.19%. 

Total returns for the portfolio increased from 6.7% to 7.5%.

The portfolio started on 8 July 2014 with a capital of RM100,000. Since then, it has outperformed the FBM KLCI by 10.0%, and has registered an annualised return of 35.8%.

Total profits currently stand at RM 7,544.72.

The gainers for the portfolio were Geshen(+4.1%) and KSSC(+3.3%). The stocks that lost ground were IW City (-2.4%) and SLP (-2.4%).


The following shares were bought yesterday, following the pick-up in trading momentum:


Success Transformers Bhd (Stock code: 7207) : 2,600 shares at RM1.87 per share. The company is involved in manufacturing and trading of electrical apparatus and industrial lighting and fittings metal stamping parts metal castings as well as property investment with a majority stake in Seremban Engineering. The company has stable EBITDA and net margins. It offers good valuations as the stock is trading at 0.88 times book and has a PE of 6.46.

TMCLife (Stock code: 0101): 9,000 shares at RM0.555 per share. The company operates the Tropicana Medical Centre in Kota Damansara and also the TMC Fertility Centre in Damansara Utama.


Ken Holdings Bhd(Stock code: 7323) 4,300 shares at RM1.15 per share. Principally involved in property development and construction activities, it has stable net margins, upcoming projects and in a net cash position.

Tasek: 600 shares at RM15.68 per share.

Last Friday, my portfolio increased together with the broader market.

The portfolio value went up by 0.19% to RM106,741.82 while the FBM KLCI increased by  0.23%.

Total returns for the portfolio increased from 6.5% to 6.7%.

The portfolio started on 8 July 2014 with a capital of RM100,000. Since then, it has outperformed the FBM KLCI by 9.0%, and has registered an annualised return of 33.3%.

Total profits currently stand at RM 6,741.82.

The gainers for the portfolio were KSL(+3.3%) and Brite-Tech(+3.3%). The stocks that lost ground were Ge-shen (-2.0%) and KSSC (-1.6%).

The following shares were bought last Friday, following the pick-up in trading momentum:

Homeritz Corp Bhd (Stock code: 5160) : 5,600 shares at RM0.88 per share. The company is an integrated designer manufacturer and exporter of a complete range of upholstered home furniture comprising leather and fabric-based sofas dining chairs and bed frames . It has a high dividend yield of 5.39% and is in a net cash position.

ES Ceramics Bhd (Stock code: 0100): 27,000 shares at RM0.185 per share. The company specialises in ceramic dipping formers. These formers are used as the mould for glove makers and balloons. Technology partner is COQUET from France. The company has stable Ebitda and net margins. 

SLP Resources Bhd(Stock code: 7248) 7,600 shares at RM0.65 per share The company manufactures plastic packaging products including polybags and polyfilms primarily for export markets. It has stable EBITDA and net margins and is in a net cash position. 

The following shares were sold last Friday,

YTLE: 5,700 shares at RM0.68 per share.

Camres: 11,000 shares at RM0.32 per share.
