My portfolio fell yesterday 25 Aug 2014 along with the market.
The portfolio value dropped 0.8% to RM105,170. The FBM KLCI declined by 0.5% yesterday.
Total returns for the portfolio declined from 6% to 5.2%.
The portfolio started on 8 July 2014 with a capital of RM100,000. Since then, it has outperformed the FBM KLCI by 6.8%, and has registered an annualised return of 38.5%.
Total profits currently stand at RM5,172.29 of which RM1,725.44 have been realised, RM4,837.50 are unrealised and RM1,390.65 are commission costs incurred.
The portfolio’s major gainers for yesterday were Superlon (+1.4%) and Oceancash (+1.6%). The major losers were CCK (-3.9%),Micro MSC(-3.2%) and Arank (-2.9%).
I sold the remaining 30,000 shares of Marco Holdings yesterday for RM0.205 per share. Compared to the initial purchase cost of RM 0.19 per share,a gain of RM 450 was made.
There were no purchases made yesterday.
